No cutting corners: The MK way

Thinking about the future is the name of the game for MK Remodeling and Design. Just look at MK’s job site in Chandler.

MK was working to enclose a patio, and convert it into an extension of a house’s living room.

A support beam in the house stopped short of the wall, which could lead to trouble down the road.

An unscrupulous builder wouldn’t have given it a second thought, but that’s not the MK way.

The result was the installation of another post and a new beam, ensuring the home had proper support, and delivering more space and overall comfort to the living area.

“Most redesigns look like a separate part of the house,” says James Gillis, the company’s CFO. “We want ours to look like it was always there.”

The experience underscores the importance of using licensed contractors. Workers who think ahead and flag something that could be a problem down the road.

At MK Remodeling and Design, that’s the name of the game.
